5 Reasons to Attend ROCK THE PARK
Rock The Park ~ A Celebration of Life, Love, & Light ~ is our effort to encourage people to live in the present moment and carry out the legacies of those who have gone before us in a celebratory fashion.
Sheryl Sandberg lost her husband Dave Goldberg 30 days ago in a tragic treadmill accident while on vacation in Mexico.
During the month since his death, Sandberg has learned about love, life and how to cope with extreme grief. She wrote all these lessons down in a Facebook essay so others who face tragedy can learn from her experience.
The advice is really good, whether you're experiencing a loss or helping someone else who is. For example, Sheryl says asking "How are you doing today?" is better than asking her, "How are you doing," since the latter suggests ignorance about a great loss, and the former implies knowing it's hard to get through each and every day.
